Hey spbias, are you sure you inserted rhe string with all empty spaces removed? I struggled many timws before I got it right, it starts with an empty space and a few more. Good luck.

Default same error

[QUOTE=ViKtory36;53047478]I would like to clarify a few things in OP. People who have troubles getting root on their phones can follow my instructions in this post.
To enter fastboot mode if anyone is struggling with it, it doesn't matter how long you hold the buttons, but in which order you press the buttons. To enter fastboot you need to first press powerbutton, vol down, remove finger from power button and remove finger from voldown. You will then see the fastboot screen. (tested on xt1022 op may still be applicable for other versions).

Secondly, if you would like to permanently flash the recovery (if the commands in op just keeps rebooting your phone or never opens up the recovery and just reboots your phone), then do the following-

-Go into fastboot mode
-Open the cmd box inside the folder as OP has instructed
-Connect the phone to the pc
-Type the following and hit enter:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery-twrp.img
-Once that finishes, type the following and hit enter
Code:
fastboot reboot
-Your phone will restart. You can remove the wire now.
-Shut the phone down, and go into fastboot mode again.
-Press volume down to select "recovery", then press volume up to go into recovery mode.
-It will show teamwin's logo. Dont touch the phone and wait for a minute and the screen will go blank. Press power button, swipe to unlock.
-Follow OP's instructions from here on.

OP's commands didn't work for me for some reason. (I believe it's because I used Minimal ADB and Fastboot.)

Also, thank you OP for the guide. Also I hope I helped [/Q
what OP ? PLZ TELL ME TOO I AM GETTING THE SAME ERROR
