whats up with the S-off .... isnt that a problem during warranty? :S

how can we set that flag back? (so just the flag not the whole operation")
There are several tutorials and files for that! Also s-off won't be bad for warranty. Some devices are sold already S-off...and even if you can lock boot loader or just use a firmware/hboot where the file is edited so its locked and s-on but still s-off
Its simple read before asking and use the search button and always be thankful its FREE!!!

Devices : HTC HD2 (Sold/broken), HTC One X (has my sister now), HTC One M8 (current) (changing roms always after few weeks of use and testing)

Hey guys, I'm coming from a N5 and to relock bootloader and unroot the device it's a couple adb commands.

Now I really want to go back complete stock but I'm still S-ON

Can I just relock my bootloader, unroot and get rid of the red letters(when the device is booting) without been S-off?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance for this guide. I don't have a European M8 but i'm sure this can't be too far off for the VZW variant.

I'm awfully clumsy so I imagine i'll have to get a screen replacement sometime..

Huuuuuge thanks to you for this guide!

Worked great on my phone! After doing everything here, I simply S-ONed it again with the M8 toolkit and now I can finally send my phone in for warranty, so I can get a new one with a working sd card slot

Thanks again!
