Do you mind updating us on what happend? I'm considering getting a warranty on my m8. I was able to lock and s-on again, but can't unroot it.

Update: I sent mine in unlocked, S-on, and with a non-stock ROM on it. Zero physical damage to the phone and had no issues. I got the replacement and a few days after sending in the old phone I got the same thank you message. All seems good here too.
