I have an S4 too (S3, S2, note 10.1 old version) before that so somewhat familar with odin etc.

I notice the newest 4.4 roms are all south america, with the most recent (and only) european update being for spain.

Has anyone gone through this process and can recommend any specific good or bad versions especially FROM BTU 4.3

* I assume a stock rom flash won't trigger KNOX
* I'd guess a 4.4 update could be tricky to back out (bootloaders etc)

Hi there I am exactly in the same situation as you, but i'm from Portugal, so the firmware is P600XXUBMJ6 4.3. NOTE 10.1 (Wi Fi) SM-P600
So i would like to update to KitKat because of the multi user option and the update itself as general, but i've read a little abaout the KNOX thing and i'm affraid to do something wrong... I've done it before many time with my Galaxy S2.
Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Ricardo

Donwgrade to 4.3
Hi there,
I forgot to ask if someone knows if it is possible, in the same way, of removing the 4.4 KitKat update and revert to 4.3 Jellybean?
I mean using ODIN, flash the 4.3 firmware and be as it was in the beginning.

I've seen some mixed answers about this and if anyone knows is much appreciated

Thanks!

Yes and No depends on the model, like p605 you could but not p600.

No, you need root to install it as a system app.
