Use 3th party app like 3c toolbox or do to change voltage. Be careful
Oh my bad, saw some guides on voltage control with STweaks with other phones and thought it was a universal feature in STweaks.

I'll give 3C Toolbox a go, seems to contain a pretty comprehensive toolset.

Thanks for your help!

Does anybody know what's happening, I tried flashing through recovery but sake result.. On the dorimanx app it says 7.8 installed
you'll never see the full kernel info in the stock phone settings... (it shows only the kernel base version (in this case 3.4.103)

if the STweaks show v7.8 is installed - then it's installed...

if you really want settings to show full kernel info - that option can be enabled through G3 tweaksbox app > miscellaneous tweaks > (far bottom > "show extended kernel info"

If anyone maybe @dorimanx even? could give me a clue i'd be real grateful. I've tried working it out for myself but i'm stumped. Works fine on bbq linux on my knackered laptop.

Edit: Dosn't really matter now. Partitioned the drive and put bbq on. Still puzzling me though.
The read command didnt had the -t parameter.

your options:

Update the read binary
check what parameters it's support, and adapt the script.

any way BBQ is the best. using the latest ver + tons of updates.
