How do I disable dynamic status/nav bars?
Do I have to reset factory settings?

I am on I9500, there's no nav bars here. Am I missing something?
Nope navigation bars are of no use on this phone unless the external touch buttons are not working(they can be enabled from the legacy parts --> buttons). And as for disabling the dynamic system bars : Settings-->display- scroll down --> uncheck the first two options under dynamic system bars

Like if it was of any help, double like if it was not

Doesn't work. DSB is disabled in display. Enabled it and disabled again.
Still have the issue.

I did not touch any settings, just upgraded from PA OTA App.

Now I have issues that it doesn't unlock, nothing is visible.
Sometimes pressing the power button vibrates the device, however screen doesn't turn on.

This is when device heats up.

Also, when after some time if device is hot, it means now you can't unlock screen.

This is happening only after 4.6 Beta 1 update. No apps installed, no change in any settings.

Guys I have a problem, the Sim Toolkit app is missing from ny phone (running AOSPA 4.45), it's not even installed when I look for it in the programs.
I tried installing it manually via an apk I found for 4.4.4 but it won't show up in the app drawer even after I set a pin code for my SIM.
Can anyone help me please?

EDIT:
Ok, after a lot of struggle I eventually fixed it, here's the solution for anyone who wants:
1. Find a SIM Toolkit app that is compatible with your OS version (if your OS is 4.4.4, then find Stk.apk for 4.4.4).
2. Copy the app using Root Browser to system/app.
3. Give permissions of rw-r--r--.
4. Set PIN code for your SIM card in security settings.
5. Reboot and enter your SIM's PIN code.

Steps 1 - 3 installs the app and sets it as a system app.
Steps 4 - 5 activates the app (it will be shown in the app drawer).

Default New version is buggy

New versions of pa just doesn't work on my phone (GT-I9500, Chinese edition (nehaw)).

-Slow, VERY slow.
-Phone wont wake up after going to sleep (most of the time).
-Gets TOO hot, I already reported that issue, no fix was mentioned.

However, pa_i9500-4.4-20140625 works like a charm. Will be using that version until I get a new phone.

Just thought I will post that in case someone else is having same issues.

Thanks

Default Wifi issues

Hello,

I am running Paranoid Android on my S4 i9500 for over 3 months now. I have been facing one issue from the start. Whenever i restart my phone, it doesnt connect to known wifi. When i go to WiFi settings, it will show the known wifi as disabled, then I have to toggle the WiFi off and on and then re enter the password everytime. This mostly happens (99% of the times) only when i restart the phone or remove the battery and not when i turn off the phone and turn it back on.

I thought it was because i dirty flashed it but yesterday i tried to do a clean install and i am still facing the same issue. it would be great if someone could tell me a way to fix this as it is very frustrating.

Thank you
