I have already installed the drivers for LG on my laptop but still no luck :(

Running STOCK LG G Pad 4.4.2


Androi Version: 4.4.2
Kernel Version: 3.4.0
Build Number: KOT49I.V50020d
Software Version: V50020d

I have an Issue:

After installing TWRP successfully according to the instructions I get a broken Robot when I enter the recovery and it says on the bottom:

E: missing bitmap stage_emtpy
(Code -1)
E: missing bitmap stage_fill
(Code -1)

I have no idea what this means but it seems to harm the recovery as is was not able to update SU getting: E: footer is wrong signature verification failed

Anyone can help me?

EDIT:
I did resolve the issue by installing another TWRP build from german website android-hilfe but still am not sure what caused the issue....german GPADS however have the so called "awifi" platform (which is exactly the V500 from what I have read) so this might be the reason

I'm having problems flashing any ROM with TWRP 2.8.0.1, returns me E:Error executing updater binary in zip, I believe I need to update bootloader, right?

Its been reported and verified that twrp 2.8.0.1 has the wrong device board cooked in. Instead of being "v500" it is "palman" which I believe is the GPE gpad. So just stick with 2.8.0.0 until further notice.

any alternative to unlocking the bootloader in a tablet with a v50020d software version as this method did not work with it.

    Install TWRP 2.3.6.2 in the simplest fashion​


    How to Install​

    It will require that drivers be installed and the device must be rooted​
    Download the file and unpack it​
    USB debugging must be enabled and connect the Gpad as MTP​
    click to run it with the right mouse button as an Administrator and follow the instructions ​
    for connection type "yes" to the recovery to start or "no" for exit​


    This is the easiest way without any write or copy something and paste to install TWPR 2.6.3.2.​
    I have tested it with 10a/b/c and with Windows 7 64 bit it works great​

    Use only at your own risk, I take no responsibility if your device is damaged!​

    It did work for me when I didn't run it as administrator.

    I had the same problem. I solved it by not running it as administrator.
