One question - is it of great importance to use the TWRP 2.6 recovery? I tried clean install with 2.7 and it was OK. Could this lead to any issues?

And one more - the Power profile and the Glove mode settings do not stick after reboot. I even think they do not work. At least the Gloves mode seems to work all the time, no matter if enabled or disabled.

This ROM is so controversial... It's the fastest thing I've ever used on my phone, but there are several issues that bother me:

1. Battery stats are not working.

2. I'm getting random reboots, sometimes when receiving Viber calls.

3. The most serious issue - Media Storage keeps working all the time and drains the battery. It doesn't work well, I've no access to my SD photos, ringtones. QuickPic hangs, Gallery - too. Camera doesn't start. All these are OK right after reboot, but if I start browsing pictures, in some time all media related apps just freeze.

4. After disabling airplane mode the phone doesn't connect to the mobile operator.

5. Sometimes, not so rarely, some graphical issues occur, letters seem broken anywhere - in apps or the launcher, or in the settings.

I want this to work so much, cause it's so freaking fast!!!

Can I reflash TWRP 2.8 and use my Backup to return to PA without install an Huawei KK Firmware?

Power Profile and Gloves Mode working just fine ... you can check Gloves Mode by touch your dispaly with cable / cord from the headphones !

Yes, but before performe Backup , make sure you are in TWRP 2.8.0.0 and also you should wipe all apart External Storage !

Hi surdu,

Yes, you're right, the Gloves mode does work, probably the Power mode works as well, but they really don't stick after reboot.

Anyway, it's amazing how I prefer this ROM to any other despite the little imperfections. I just hope you have the time to polish them out, for which we all will be grateful.

Battery statistics fix TEST!

Patch battery statistics fix. Not tested!!! (I am happy with Omni and don't want to go back to JB; waiting for CM11

). Make a backup of System partition before applying of the fix!

Language to French --> no connection

Hi,

I've changed my system language to French, and now I cannot make a cellular connection. It says there are no networks available.

Is there anyone with the same issue? And is there a way to fix this without factory reset?

Edit: After changing the language back to English (US), I have network connection again. Strange stuff...
