Thanks great tutorial. I have just completed the readbackup successfully for my unite 2 8GB.

Sir could you please confirm me, whether I need to maintain the file created through sp flash also OR not?

Secondly I would also like to specifiy for all the readers prefer using alternative link for MTKdroid, that worked fine for Windows7 64bit.

Thanks and Regards
Deepak Gupta

  1. Installed Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00_Win8.1 for win 8.1 from web for phone detection from SP tool.
  2. Installed PDAnet_4150 driver for MtkDroidTools v2.5.3 to detect the phone.

Was searching for this for quite some time.

Added link for those who might not have got the link yet http://www.4shared.com/archive/qYREC...r_v1123600.htm

Also, look attachment to see what you are expected after successful read back using SP tools. (Still some more process to gor through)

MTK Droid Tool infected with Trojan Horse
Dear Sandeep,
Thanks for the great work you do. I tried downloading the MTK droid tool from the 2 links provided in your post. Unfortunately the EXE file is infected with a Trojan Horse and my system anti virus deletes it. I also tried looking for a clean version on the internet but could not get one.
Can you please help to get a clean version of it.

Many Thanks,
Ranjit

I followed your below mentioned procedure and took readback many days ago and re-partitioned my phone - MICROMAX UNITE 2 A106 8GB ROM.

Due to some trouble, now I want to install the said taken readback to my phone again. Kindly tell me stepwise procedure to be followed for the same.

Thanks in advance.
