ADB is too slow for video recording, though if you have Android 4.4 it is possible with it's built in function. Please read this: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-re...id-4-4-kitkat/

I'll think of adding it to the app.

I'm trying to do this for my friends phone. They are stock, unrooted and took the ota to 4.4 on a verizon s3. Is there another way to root besides towelroot because I need to do that before I can push a new recovery to push a kernel with a script to enable adb.

Ive got an old Eris with a screen resolution of 320x480. The digitizer is dead and im trying to get into the thing so I can turn it into an IP Cam. Found this gem of a program but its not helping me much. Swiping of course isn't working with no option for that size. Only thing ive been able to do is reboot and recovery. Everything else does nothing. I am running gingerbread on it though. I don't know if that's an issue?
Thanks.

i enabled adb via the default.prop and compiled the kernel and flashed in recovery(sideload).
now i have full control over the device.
thanks for the tool mate! i hope to see it cross compiled for linux soon aswell

can you elaborate on how to do that?
im on the same situation as you are and i dont know what to do!
