So... I'm running a Google Edition ROM (
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2539361 ) and have recently encrypted my phone. Now, TWRP is unable to mount the data partition. The current version (2.8.0.1) doesn't even prompt for the encryption password. I also tried a couple other TWRP versions - I don't recall the exact version numbers, but it was one each from the 2.5 and 2.6 versions, and while both older versions prompted for the password, neither was able to mount or read /data.
Is there a version of TWRP somewhere that can read the encrypted data partition? If not, does anyone know of a custom recovery that can (latest version of CWM Touch couldn't do it, either)?
My own research/searching is saying this isn't possible, but I figured I'd ask anyway, in case someone knows something I haven't been able to find. While I don't
need access to /data, it would be nice to still be able to nandroid it from recovery
