Thanks, AA. There's no "fun" when messing around with the terminal emulator, that app is all business! I know that thing can brick a phone or tab if a person doesn't know what they're doing. Thanks again!

Bump - because i have seen some user flashing wrong files and lost EFS!
Follow the instructions in 2nd post.

Hey, how you doing AA? The command for option 2, will it work for ANY phone, or is it device specific (I'm doubting it is, but never know)?

Hey @njstein ! Thanks, i am fine a lot of work on tab 2 kernel a diff of ~ 52000 lines.... Lol.


In general the command should be the same on most devices, only the /dev/block/ different on other devices. Ask your DM first

is it still same efs partition?
.img from efs pro 8mb, .img from method2 20mb.

Idk whats on mmcblk0p4. Mmcblk0p1 for Tab2 efs. It is different on other devices. Also my efs pro shows mmcblk0p1
