a note: HBOOT 2.16.0000 is the "modded" one (without red warning lines) - there is some inconvenience with that HBOOT? must i flash the standard one?

I had a familiar issue with the recovery img, and yes its hboot related, just flash a full hboot firmware and the recovery will work this time (yes- flash only a dm recovery that fit to 2.16 ) good luck!

here the page where i downloaded the hboot: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/htc...ade-hboot.html

It's Italian but you can easily find your way to the .zip(s)

btw, please, have you a good link for the updated and reliable hboot zip(s) and firmware?
I tried to dig here on xda but seems difficult for me to find a "one place has everything" unfortunately....

thanks

EDIT: trying to install your work from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-...one-s-t2869703
following the instruction (with the installation first of https://goo.im/devs/mdmower/htc-twrp...2-ville-dm.img )

you cant do that, you can only flash hboot 2.15 or lower on top of the hboot 2.15 firmware, flashing the hboot 2.16 without flashing the hboot 2.16 firmware could potentially brick your phone

you can find the modified hboots here

Thanks. Got everything.

now:
hboot 2.16 (complete firmware + mod-no-red-lines)
twrp-2.8.0.1-ville-dm.img
CyanogenMod_11S_ville_v1.zip

super smooth!

Guessing if i can flash a normal CM nightly (seems official cm are still on a hboot 2.15.4444 - 2.15.0000 - 2.13.000).... anyway i am *very* happy now!
