I've always wanted a phone with CyanogenMod, but none of my prior handsets were supported. $25 is definitely worth it considering the end result. Thanks for that; you've saved me many hours of Googling.

Does that mean I need to update to 4.4.3 before it will work? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I've usually stuck with stock ROM and just modded them to my will.
