[RECOVERY][m8] TWRP 2.8.0.1 touch recovery [2014-09-12]

So here's something interesting...

I finally got around to trying to "fastboot boot" the recovery.img from within the OTA. It appears to do the same thing that trying to boot TWRP that way does: it has a vertical line in the upper right of the fastboot screen, and then nothing (fastboot is still displayed, but it's not in fastboot mode.) My best guess is that it's actually booted the recovery.img, but just isn't displaying the video.

(unlike TWRP, there's no vibration on screen touches and adb isn't active, so there's no good way to know if it's in recovery or not.)

This is with 3.28.1540.5
