I noticed that my phone with this Rom and Agni kernel went to sleep few times. I had to remove the battery to get the phone rebooted.

My AGNi settings:

Normal - Optimised
Max CPU - 1704 MHz
Min CPU - 300 MHz

I still get really great battery life and I dont experience the SOD (screen of death)

Im also still on the 4.1.2 Bootloader.

For some reason my WiFi doesn't work?

I did a fresh install from a 4.4 AOSP ROM then installed Agni kernel afterwards. No bueno.

Anyone experiencing this? I'd turn the WiFi toggle then it would turn back off.

WiFi should work with agni kernel. When you say fresh do you mean full wipe because if not there's a lot difference between 4.4 aosp and 4.4 TouchWiz? If you did full wipe it might be your recovery needs updating or maybe kernel didn't fully flash.

Yup, fresh install. Full wiped 2-3 times. I'm still on TWRP 2.7+... is it necessary to go up to 2.8?

I'll try to go for it again later.

I've never used twrp 2.8 I've used philz touch for most of my flashing. In about setting in phone what does it list as your kernel version?
