Yeah that's an option but I'd have to reconfigure Linux and download the source again locally or copy it from the live environment. If I could get tethering to work with network manager or some other way in Linux I'd be set. As it is now, I'm still positioned to have internet working in my Linux install working over a wired connection tomorrow evening and can push an updated kernel then. Color control will have to wait. I don't think it works well on this phone from what I've read. Too many issues with potential reboots.

OK, kernel updated. WiFi should work on the more recent CM builds now (but not the ones before ~ 10/8).

How about the 10/8 snapshot? Use or no?

No, snapshot code is cut off at the end of the month before the snapshot is released. This is only nightlies. I should have specified.

Oh, the FM radio kernel features were also merged from upstream cm-11.

Is the new link is saying file not found for anyone else? All the old kernel links seem to work though.

Running 2.3 with the CM11 10/22 nightly and everything is smooth...WiFi works as it should. Its good to have l2m back.

Quick question...is there any difference between the ondemand and interactive governors in this kernel and the stock CM11 kernel?

Interactive is untouched. Ondemand is a modified take on stock cm11 with the multiphase support as well as some frequency patches that should help battery.
