Just out of curiosity, @enewman17, do you forsee an update to S3Rx on the horizon or do you think we've pretty much reached perfection with this ROM? It is running very well on my phone and I have no complaints. I know you are pulling back from XDA for a while so take your time with whatever you decide to do. I am truly grateful for your work!

I'm the one whos messed with all of these so I'll throw in my findings. I'm pretty certain these will do it but themeing can be quite forgetful and is full of trial and error.

4g lte icons are in systemui/res/drawable-xhdpi "stat_sys_data_connected_3g" "stat_sys_data_connected_4g_att" "stat_sys_data_connected_lte_att" "stat_sys_data_out_att_1" - 3

As for the conference call image and other callerid images for s5 phone they are in incallui.apk/res/drawable-sw360dp-xhdpi. "picture_conference" "picture_unknown"

Pretty certain it was those that finally changed it from the creep faces for me when I just themed it. As for the stock SecPhone.apk look in drawable-sw360dp-xhdpi "call_img_conference" "call_img_unknown" as well as both with covered after them probably.

I unzipped the entire ROM but when I try to copy icons into systemui/res/drawable-xhdp via 7-zip, I get a "not implemented" error. I've done this numerous times with S3Rx 3.0. What am I missing?

I know this isn't the answer that you're looking for, but RockRatt posted several flashable zips of different 4g lte icons in an earlier version thread of s3rx, or hell maybe even the detmobilized thread. I'm not even sure if they will still work, but might be something you're interested in? Sorry, I don't have a link, might have to search for a bit...

Thanks but I ended up unzipping the ROM, renaming certain apks to .zip, making my edits, renaming the zips back to apk and then rezipping the ROM. It was a lot of work but it worked! :cyclops:

While playing with a SGS S5 today in the store, I noticed the MMS app has a pop-up message setting.
I don't see that option in the modded S5 MMS in this ROM. Is there a way to enable pop-up messages in our message app?

Not sure. I use Textra for that feature and others.

If you choose the AOSP messaging app in Aroma, it is crazy customizable and it does have the pop up setting.

Thanks -I'll give it try. BTW I found the pop-up feature in the S5 Mod. It's a sub menu under Notifications

UPDATE: Tried AOSP MMS, and it doesn't have the direct link to open the Contact app to choose one or more contacts or contact group. This is also the main reason I don't use the gmail app.

If I missed how to do this in the app, let me know.

    FAQ/Issues

    • ON NJ2 DON'T INSTALL THE GALAXY 5 PHOTO EDITOR IN AROMA. It will cause the gallery to crash.
    • Smart network switch still shows on first boot in the wifi connection. Haven't found the cause yet. DON'T USE IT, it causes issues.
    • Wanam Torch, using the home button for flashlight will cause extra battery drain. It creates a wakelock and will show Android System to be consuming a lot of battery.
    • Wanam Xposed breaks auto brightness. disable the setting in wanam>themes>brightness slider settings.
    • Wanam Clock and battery mods do not work.
    • Wanam lock screen tweaks shouldn't be used.
    • Clock will be dim on first boot till you enter the Extras menu then the color will appear.
    • Modified Note 2 and Note 3 camera will FC only on 720p video recording. Will fix later.... Can't fix
    • I'm only going to support the new NE4 bootloader, modem and kernel set up. If you don't want to update your bootloaders then you need to use ktoonsez kernel for TW 4.4.2. I cannot support issues due to kernel.
    • Base should be pretty stable, please report any bugs. If at all possible please try and recreate the issues while running a logcat. The issue can be solved much faster then just telling me "this don't work".
