Finally got volume to go over 1/2. Not sure what changed but I turned it up when plugged into my car radio instead of my headset

On that note whrn ever connecting to bt it will always start at 1/2 or less.

Sure, when I have time, I feel like I like my z1s more than my z2 d6708 Verizon.. Can't wait to have 4.4.4, root and possible unlocked bootloader..

when was the z2 verizon released? and we already have 4.4.4 for the z1s

I think the C6916 is a big upgrade from the Z.

I just got mine, rooted it and customized it.

I am running kitkat and the problem I ran into was the sd card thing that everyone ran into. Cant write to SD using apps in kittkat.. BUT If you isntall the sd fix app from google store, it fixes it. I use fx explorer with root..

Works like a charm


To remove all the bloat ware you need root and use a app called System app remover by Jumobile... Best app to remove all apps. But again, you will need to be rooted which is EASY> just look up my tutorial...

this morning I was notified that there was a software update available for my z1s as it did not go into great detail about what the update include i did install the update and I see that there is an updated kernel I know because it has an October 2014 date I'm not sure exactly sure what the Kernel does? so I'm not sure how this update could enhance the performance of the operating system? if anyone could explain it be greatly appreciated
