Just a quick note about the Airdock. I have one and find it OK.... When I got it the surface was not very sticky at all. I tried cleaning, but it did not improve. I am using it on my S5 with the OEM back and I am using the sticker on the back of the case to hold it place. Although If I try to swipe the screen or press a button it will fall off. But driving down the road it never falls off.

so.. it's just OK...

The Steelie Mount has the best look when the phone is removed
This is, without a doubt, my favorite cell phone mount for any phone or tablet that does not use wireless charging. It hold strong and looks great when the phone is not there and is much classier than those giant black plastic clamps. The magnet on the back of the phone looks clean and does provide an extra grip point when holding the phone. It also works great with the desk stand and the little rubber ball stand for holding or siting on your desk.

The only problem I have it that now that I am using the wireless charging flip cover, there is not a place to put the magnet on the back of the phone that doesn't interfere with the charging.

I have been really impressed with the Quadlock system. I have had them on several phones now and use the dongles on my mountain bike and in my truck.

Just go with 9to5mac.com ... if they say this one is the best so I won't argue

I think the best car mounts come from sweden: http://www.brodit.se/productList.htm...axy+S5&pn=prod

Volvo installed this: http://www.brodit.se/product.html?id...el=Galaxy%20S5 in my S80 and I'm very satisfied with it!

......... didn't think it would work but after 3 months and 2 phones this is by far the best mount for me:
Scosche - MagicMount Cell Phone Car Mount System | Magnetic Phone Mount - http://www.scosche.com/mounts/magicm...ndow-car-mount
........ so easy put in place and\or remove the phone........

I wonder which of these mounts will fit a S5 with the zerolemon 8500mah brick

leaning towards iottie or arkon because of the suction anywhere, and the 360š angle on the 2 axis

no manufacturer states the clamp height but I know the ZL 8500mah thickness is about 1.9cm / 0.76 inch
of course itīs not necessary to clamp the whole thickness, just enough to get a solid fit so it wonīt fall

anyone tried these type of holders with the ZL battery fitted ?

I am fan of the TechMatte car mounts, since they are so similar to the iOttie ones, but like 1/3 the price. Works perfectly for the S5, but probably won't be big enough if I get this Nexus 6
