Hello, i have a doogee 550 with kitkat rom (after update). Everything works great except for the battery indication. Battery usually lasts about 3 or 4 days with typical usage but the percentage of the indicator doesnt decrease smooth. The unpleasant result is that although it indicates about 40% it might close with unchanged battery in a few moments. Can anyone suggest anything?

bad bugs upgrading to kitkat.
first my phone reboots when i plug it in for charging and then the charging is making 4 and a half hours and still 96%,very slow charging. With 4.2. i was 100% in less than two hours.
i am downgrading to 4.2.
I JUST saw an update for dagger in doogee.cc with 4.2 rom Build number:Android 4.2 - 11-17
Update Content:
compatible for new camera.

I have had good luck with the AOSP 3.0 rom from needrom.com, and it looks like the newer versions are doing great too. You may want to check them out.

How did you upgrade exactly ? Did you wipe the phone, have you done a factory reset ? Or at least wipe cache and dalvik after flashing, from recovery ? I have just bought one for my girlfriend, still in 4.2.9, so i'm interested to know if update, official or AOSP, leads to bugs...
Thank you

Thank you

After changing
Seven times roms with sp flash tools i ended up in 4.2.9 and after that i passed to kitkat4aosp by baldos81 in needrom which i beliveve is the best. But unfortunatelly i paid the cost of messing the IC charging chip in the first time i put the official.
So my advize to you is not to mess with the phone because the 4.2.9 has no other issues except the 1,5 gb space for apps which can be controlled by putting the apps in the micro sd.
My conclusion for the phone is that for thr money is ok, but expect a sensitive case with the screen coming a little more sensitive. Mine already from the one side started to come off like one or two milimeters. The quality that i expected seeing the doogees factory videos in youtube was much better.
Does anybody has make the blue devils eye as notification led? The gravity box doesnt fix it. It would be nice to work
