HOW TO GO BACK FROM CWM 6.x TO CWM 5.x



Method 1

1. Flash a fresh STOCK rom using Odin
2. Root and install CWM 5.0.2.6. FIXED
3. (Optional) Restore your old Backup


Method 2

1. Install Mobile Odin.apk
2. Flash a fresh Stock ROM
3. Root and flash the CWM 5.0.2.6. FIXED recovery
4. (Optional) Restore your old Backup


Method 2

1. Install Mobile Odin.apk
2. Flash the CWM 5.0.2.6. FIXED recovery
3. (Optional) Restore your old Backup


Method 4

1. Flash CWM 5.0.2.6. FIXED via CWM 6.0.4.7 or TWRP 2.7.0.0 or CWM 6.0.4.8 Advanced Edition / PhilZ Touch Recovery 6.40.1 (you can flash directly another custom rom)
2. Use the Terminal app (CM11) [optional download and install Android Terminal Emulator (from Play Store)]
3. Open it and type the following code (running Android 4.4.x)
Code:
su
flash_image recoveryonly /storage/sdcard0/recovery.img
4. (Optional) Restore your old Backup


Method 5

1. Extract the image file from CWM 5.0.2.6. FIXED (recovery.img) and put it in your sdcard's root directory.
2. Use the Terminal app (CM11) [optional download and install Android Terminal Emulator (from Play Store)]
3. Open it and type the following code (running Android 4.4.x)
Code:
su
flash_image recoveryonly /storage/sdcard0/recovery.img
It should work correctly and you'll get CWM 5.0.2.6 Fixed as recovery

4. (Optional) Restore your old Backup

Thanks! Personally i would recommand this TWRP Recovery 2.7.0.0, works great with CM9 too.
