Hey guys, I moved on to the LG G3, and now a Nexus 6 - the coolpad is used by my kids. Now, I found this link to a few ROMs for the Coolpad:

http://yun.baidu.com/share/home?uk=2...ategory/type=0

but many of them are slow or stop working part way through. If anyone has some alternative and faster links, please let me know. Thanks

Use jdownloader, cos I should be able to continue the download.
At least he did that for my asia-downloads.

Thanks, even with that it is slow, but it is more steadier and the download is not completely stopping. I am seeing that there 4.4 and 4.2 ROMS out now - any suggestions? If you have one already downloaded could you post it here? thanks

@networkdood

You're right, the speed isn't faster but it can be resumed.

I'm staying on rooted stock for easier OTA-upgrading, currently 4.4.024

So I don't download any custom roms anymore.

Regards

@TortoiseCat

9976A

here you go (OTA_019.zip):
https://docs.google.com/uc?export=do...HgtVjlNRGt6VTg

or the PPB:
https://docs.google.com/uc?export=do...HgxUV9TU0k0M3M

It's still only chinese/english, rootable via vroot.
It's possible (in the latest firmwares) to keep root, just enable OTA-protection in SuperSU.
Google Services needs to be downloaded AND installed via Settings/Accessibility/Install GMS package for trial, once you are at 4.4.

OTA it to 025.

Regards

PS: I'm currently thinking of getting a Zopo ZP999/3X. Seems to be a good phone for a reasonable price with all needed german FDD-LTE-Bands and dualsim. The battery capacity maybe a bit faked, but hey
