HELP!
I was on build KOT NG6, trying to downgrade to NC5. I did the no wipe method. Got a RESET! then PASS! on 3.09 but when phone rebooted, I got a "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped." The same message keeps popping up if I hit OK and try to do anything. It keeps rebooting itself within 30 seconds of booting.

Please tell me I can get my phone back!

Wait until you see the Android logo then release all the buttons.
Select Wipe data/Factory reset with VOLUME DOWN, press Power (right hand-side)
Select YES -- delete all user data with VOLUME DOWN and then press Power
After format, press Power again to reboot phone. (select reboot system now)

I was hoping I didn't have to do lose my data but there's no avoiding it. Now, do you know why I failed to downgrade to NC5?

I would try from start again. You may have missed a step somewhere. I use titanium backup for my apps and move anything important to my ext-sdcard incase of a full wipe. Keep my important apps and downloads there. Also I use nova launcher to quickly put my home screens... (Icons etc.) Back in place fast.

So I'm trying to fix this damn s4 my friends kid attempted to root it using towelroot and messed it up somehow. As soon as I get it booted I get "unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped. I've tried factory reset with no luck. I think this is my last option. I thought maybe I could flash a recovery through Odin and flash a stock Rom from there. Or should I just go ahead with the full wipe? The build number is NC5 and android version 4.4.2.

Same thing happened to me when I tried to downgrade from ??6 down to nc5. Had to do a hard reset as outlined in post #142 in this thread

Little confused here, so hopefully someone can straighten me out.
If I flash "VRUFNC5 Full-Wipe ", will I lose the ability to install TWRP recovery for good? Can I flash, then root and install loki and TWRP?

Little lost on this.

Thanks!
