I guess there must be some sort of "hack" to get it work on 1+1.
there is needed a Dev that would like to look into OF7/a to see if there is smth to "port" to OPO in order for VOOC to work, imho.

VOOC will charge all other devices thats not Find7/7a at 2A. It is not a kernel thing, but hardware. Even tho OPO has the same 7usb pins, but the battery does not. Also the VOOC charge communicate with the device, if it is not Find7/7a, again, it will not supply the 4.5A.

It can charge off a vooc charger, but your not getting vooc charging speeds.

Correct me if I'm wrong. The find 7a battery is broken into three cells. The battery itself has seven contacts. Two for each cell. One left over sensor.

So when charging, its charging three smaller cells at high amperage.

It can only work like that with their battery

I agree
this thread should state confirmed not working

everything makes sense right now except for those still stubborn in thinking the vooc charger will work on the OPO they way they would like it to work

bottom line is this...
who cares if it has the extra pins the battery does not nor does it have the individual cells
who cares if you own or go buy a vooc charger it will still charge the OPO @ 2.A
you can try to enable it with kernel mods but I doubt it will function like the Find 7 on original vooc charger
