Noob

Hello everyone, I'm new and a total noob here.

How important is it to unlock a bootloader? I have rooted my device and installed CWM and TWRP.

What do you mean "offline charging" doesn't work? So if I have my wifi off I cant charge the battery?

do you know the best and suitable custom rom for sony xperia miro and the site that is available to download it???

There isn't something like "the best ROM". Test a few, and decide yourself. If you flash save ROMs, there is no harm in it. Comparing ROMs isn't allowed by the forum rules!

O please! I refuse to provide you with a link, use search and you will find it.

Most of the time I'm trying to be helpful and nice towards other XDA members, but not towards someone who is as lazy as you.

Have a nice day.

    No rooting technique for 11.0.A.5.5.. Have to flash previous version n den root which m unable to do.

    Sent from my ST23i

    as i mentioned earlier, i successfully rooted miro with 11.0.A.5.5. without downgrading.

    find my first post in this thread for more info.

    Thanx for your reply.

    I've read about zarac's method I i find it too easy; something's got to give;
    So i'm not 100% convinced and i'll just postpone rooting until i'll find a safer method;

    Thank you anyway.

    tzakieta, UnlockRoot is the SAFEST method so far because it doesn't involve wiping, flashing nor downgrading your device - just pushing the superuser binary using a known exploit - all your data stays intact.

    I must admit, reading your post made me chuckle: the original method is too hard, but this one is too easy - LOL.

    Anyways, there are lots of users here who rooted their devices using UnlockRoot - there is even a dedicated topic and no one has had any problems with it: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2120435

    I would also like to stress that I am in no way associated with the developers behind UnlockRoot, I merely stumbled upon it when I was looking for a working root method for my girlfriend's Miro.

    md5 error - [CULPRIT CASE] RENAMED BACKUP FILE

    Since it is an official thread for Xperia miro I would like to mention something for md5 error during restoring ROM just in case somebody stumbles upon it. From different posts I came to the desired solution. First go through this thread:
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2084906
    If the problem further persists, and if you had renamed your backup file somewhere in the past then try renaming the backup file as just "backup" or any other name you prefer but without any spaces. Then, try repeating the restoring process. It worked for me. I hope it works for you as well.
