Sorry I overlooked...

Code:
added broadcasting data recive action for communicating with external apps
action: org.kangaroo.rim.action.ACTION_DATA_RECEIVE
exrta: org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_COMMAND, org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_ARGS
data format that accepted from device "<extra_command:extra_args>"
added support recive data from external apps for sending to device
action: org.kangaroo.rim.action.ACTION_DATA_SEND
exrta: org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_COMMAND, org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_ARGS
data format that will be sent to device "<extra_command:extra_args>"
Sounds like exactly what I needed. I will write an app to interface with this. This is a great feature! Any chance at the other features? Thanks again for bringing this to my setup.

In testing I have found 2 problems. It could just be me? I did test on my nexus 7 with the same result so it not just 4.1.1

1) "Previous" and "Next" under "Media Control" cause a double click (press) action when using Poweramp. It fully skips the next song and goes to the next one after that.
2) I am using Tasker however no shortcuts appear when I try to select one. Maybe I am doing something wrong here?

Everything else works perfectly!

broadcast comunication
Hi _crue_!
Thanks for add this functional.
I tried receive extra data in my app but if i use IntentFilter("org.kangaroo.rim.action.ACTION_DATA_ RECEIVE") and get extra data f.ex getStringExtra("org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_COMM AND") i receive EXTRA_COMMAND = click, EXTRA_ARGS = f.ex 100
from arduino i send <extra_command:extra_args>, how i can receive extra_command and extra_args in BroadcastReceiver? Thanks!

org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_COMMAND
org.kangaroo.rim.device.EXTRA_ARGS
I've updated header, probably forget to change it before

can anybody (_crue_?) tell me how the "broadcasting data recive action for communicating with external app" exactly works? I tried it now a few hours but still have no clue how I make the intent settings in Tasker. So, how can I get a point in the list off the selection "select Tasker task"?
Thanks!

Edit:
Okay i found the problems:
1. The Trial Version of Tasker didn't allow external app communication
2. I had to check "allow external apps" in Tasker.

Now I can select all task in Remote Inputs Control...

BUT: When i use keyevents it takes a long long time (1,5 seconds) for the input. I tried it with secure settings and taskerinput app.
Is there maybe a better solution without any recognition time?

THANKs FOR THE GREAT APP!

Hi, I didn't went here for a while and just tested the last version 1.3.2 (coming from 1.3.0), it does not appear in recent app anymore so good point
I've been using it for a few days now, and my steering commands are working everytime the tablet has resumed from deep sleep. With previous version it worked barely 1/2 times (and sometimes the only way to make it work was to purely reboot the N7).
So it's a great improvement in usability for me, thanks again crue !
