Have you installed stock recovery. And also make sure the stock ROM you flashed was for your model

Hey buddies , I have this problem . Rooted my indian XT022 a few days ago . Am presently on 4.4.4. Have an unlocked bootloader. I wanna lock my bootloader back again. Went thru many guides including this 1. I got my stock firmware but the 4.4.2 version. I tried flashing that but got errors like validation failed etc.. Etc... Like many others got.. My questions !

Is it possible to downgrade ?? I think it is. If so what was the problem when i tried to flash it ?
If not can any1 provide me the link of indian 4.4.4 stock firmware ? And one more thing , what are the requisites to recieve the android l update ?? Will my stock rom with unlocked bootloader with no permanent recovery do ?? By permanent recovery , i mean i didnt falsh a permanent recovery, just used the temporary cwm to flash SU. !!

Heartly thanks in advance to any1 who answers any of my doubts ! (y)

No it is quite dangerous to downgrade. You may end up bricked. Also you'll need to be on 4.4.4 to get the L update. You need stock recovery and stock kernel for the L update.
