It's the same spring bars that are in normal watches. If you haven't removed spring bars in the past, you can look at a few youtube vids to show you how, or go to a mall kiosk and have them remove them for you. You can ghetto it and use a thin blade knife or buy a tool to remove it. You can find the tools on amazon or ebay.

Definitely, doesn't get in the way of the charger at all. This is a pic I had taken one day when I needed to charge "on the go" :

Heh, that was the USB cable from my Moto X that was in the car at the time.

Are there other mods people have done other than the strap? Can the faceplate be modified, like a different color? I'm curious as to what people come up with on this watch!

Used one of my old Fossil cuffs. Really like the way it looks. Seeing how I charge it at night getting the charger on isn't that big of a deal.

And yes stickers are still on it. Still on my phone and some still on parts of my car interior. Whatever helps it last a little bit longer, or until they start coming off.
