Its OEM. Its built into the backing. And keeps the seal.

Because you can't use many cases I'm with it. I'm assuming thats the reason others don't like the factory one. I just don't understand why samsung doesnt include qi built in to begin with.

Less expensive than replacing a phone.

Because it severely limits which cases you can use because it makes the phone thicker.

i got the OEM samsung s5 wireless battery cover that you linked above, and ever since i put it on the phone it says 'check battery cover' on the screen. The seal doesn't seem too good on the top right and next to the headphone jack, and it definitely doesn't feel like it is still ip67... has this happened to anyone else? Maybe I got a bad one..

Attached is the photos I promised. One is with the powerqi card installed and other without. You decide which one has the card

Maybe user error It's made/designed by Samsung so there's no reason it shouldn't work as well as the standard back. In my opinion, the standard back doesn't "feel" ip67 either, so how much worse could it be?
