I changed I/O governors to cfq just for testing. I don't know if anything changed in SD I/O operrations, but it seems there is a vissible battery improval....

EDIT: Jus got 3 updates (Facebook, Inbox, and Calendar), and ti was no freeze (just a little slowness). Maybe it's worth testing? What do you think?

i changes governor to cfq and can see noticeable improvement in the smoothness while accessing settings from main screen shortcut. I also was experiencing a big lag while changing my time settings to get extra life in candy crush however after changing to cfq the lag has come down drastically. Further, while booting the boot animation was laggy for first 3-4 seconds (the circles) and now its smooth from first circle...thanks guys.

Need your advice on this however. When my phone is on charging and i want to type or message the letters dont type even after pressing the keypads..only after i remove the charging it starts functioning..Any headsup...Edit :: I never experienced lag in typing while on stock

I had this on stock, and sometimes on CM. But... the issue exists only when my divice is in horizontal position (on a table, floor or something).
