You have to use the kernel provided with the ROM. Let the device settle in! It will speed up after some use.

my experience installing this ROM:
1-i installed it the first time, download speeds were about 12 KBPS,ARE YOU SERIOUS?? 2015???(so i paused it and resumed it so the initial speed gets higher)
2-it didnt flash,at all,it just stood there, did nothing for like an hour
3-downloaded it again without interruption, took 3-4 hours to download, and it turned out to be the same exact size as the first one, strange
4-i flashed it,and it sort of went well afterwards
5-i was amazed of how pretty the TWRP menu looked
6-atomic reboot syndrome happened(aka reboots alot)
7-managed to install nandroid manager in order to install the user apps+data from previous kitkat backup
8-nandroid manager broke my backup, cause apparently it was a split backup with the system and data partitions having a and b parts, and it has to be decompressed to be read properly,SO IT DECOMPRESSED IT IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE BACKUP IS, so restoring backup wasn't possible due to MD5 mismatch stuff,it filled up all my storage, with some backup files having .comp.comp.comp at the end,i deleted everything I saw not necessary, now i have:
-android secure version a
-system.tar.gz.a
-data.tar.gz.a
-data.tar.gz.b
-boot.img
9-i attempted to download beanstalk to revert to kitkat cause the reboots were unbearable, failed to do that due to reboots
10-finally flashed the UC kernel and the reboots went away(PS:the CPU ran at ~1.512 max before flashing,so i wasn't OCing it
11-installed all my stuff and still on lollipop, when it will grind my gears again,i'll flash the kitkat ROM immediately,i'll see how that goes
PS:i typed alot becasue i finally bought a USB OTG cable and used it with a keyboard,YAY

Have a black screen, with only status bar visible. Can only access notification shade, but other than pulling it down and pushing it back up, no buttons in notification shade respond. Nothing responds. Tried going into safe mode, but it is still the black screen. How to fix?

When I factory reset, problem is gone. However, when I restore data, problem persists and goes back to black screen.

I would say-the versions go better and better! After 24 hrs of testing-no rebots, overclocked to 1782Mhz, nice and smooth. No bugs to find for this time. The hikari runs like a new phone
Thx BPaul!
