Hi guys,

I am probably being R-E-A-L-L-Y thick here but i am not able to install the latest (22/11) version of Evervolv to my touchpad.

I am using the touchpad toolbox approach btw.

I have completely removed the old install of Ev and cleaned down the TP from WebOS, all ready to go.

The files I am using for the install are:
  • ev_tenderloin-nightly-2014.11.22.zip
  • pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.4-20141207-signed.zip
  • FLINTMAN-TWRP-touch-data_media-SELINUX-2.7.1.0-6-7-2014.zip

But touchpad toolbox grumbles that "pa_gapps-modular-mini-4.4.4-20141207-signed.zip" and "FLINTMAN-TWRP-touch-data_media-SELINUX-2.7.1.0-6-7-2014.zip" are "Unrecognized/unsupported zip" files.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks
Andy

It depends on which tool box. On 4.0 you have to name exactly as the op says. On the Version 4.1 they should work. But to be honest, I always start with the 3 elements in the o by JCS. Then I will update with newer or other ROMs with recovery.

I concur with the response above, the nomenclature is the issue. rename the zips according to the OP in the Toolbox thread and retry - that's what I had to do.

This ROM works really good for me. The cyanogenmod ROMs always seem to lock up, or get a sleep lock. This ROM doesn't. Going to try the v5 ROM next.
