BIG NO.
you can ask s2 kernel developers to cherry-pick any commit to s2 kernel and build it for you.

I just needed to make some modifications in init.rc, I only asked you because you made a boot.img containing both the ramdisk and the zimage,so I just assumed that if you were building a kernel you'd be able to help me, but anyway never mind I think that I'll be able to solve this problem later.

How do I hit thanks here? My Captivate has been running @ 1.2ghz with 371ram the whole time, then I found this! Thank God! Now it's on 400+ ram and 1.4ghz! What else are the kernel features dude?
