I have flashed 5.0.1 rom with the latest devil kernel ported by ckh469 on my e20k. its smooth & fast I actually got 27391 on antutu benchmark. calls , sms , camera, wifi, ( data? i dont use it ) etc....one thing is not working properly is my sdcard. when I installed apps on my sd without reboot it works. but when I rebooted all apps on my sd disappear. maybe its a bug . or it doesn't support apps on sd. :confused:

Hey everyone, this would probably be my first reply ever to xda developer site.

Many thanks to @kithamal11 for the note 4 experience ROM. It's installed on my e210k via cwm with arter97 kernel and working superfine (sometimes screen gives black glitches but thats alright).

I somehow managed to fix the keyboard suggestion issue by installing Google Keyboard and turning off samsung keyboard from application manager.

The only problem left is tethering and mobile hotspot. I dont know how to fix it and *#0011# > Turning off WiFi power saver method didn't work.

Can anyone please help me fix this issue? Would be much appreciated. :)

I'm running it now, everything seems to be working fine. The only problem I'm seeing is that the network signal isn't displayed properly and I can't change my network to gsm or wcdma in the hidden menu or settings. Anyone knows a fix for that?

how about your apps on sd? do they disappear after reboot?

Yeah it runs well, except for the signal bar (looks as no signal :( ).
For changing network type, u just need dial: *#*#9090#*#*, select the last option ;)

android L wifi fix..??

e210k user ..everything ok with cm12 but wifi is seen but not connecting..any fix for that..

both cm 12 roms ported by ckh469 for e210 are running perfectly ( nameless & i9305 ) on both devil & arter97 kernel. one thing I noticed that apps to sd are no longer supported by lollipop roms. so if you encounter ''apps not installed" on these rom open settings/ apps then tick menu on the upper right corner, tick "prefered install location" then choose " internal device storage "

wifi not connecting for me any fix for that..or y this issue arise..??

I love this rom, I've been using it for a couple of days and I noticed something: if i keep the screen on for some time the phone gets pretty hot (without playing games etc.). Also, it didn't work with the 4.4.4 based modem, that is, the signal bar always showed like it was empty, and when I flashed the 4.3 modem, the signal was then fixed, but my mobile data keeps turning itself off, and I can't turn it on again until I restart the phone. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

I'm currently using Sena v6 on my e210s and it works great except for one problem: the 3g connection barely works, it gets 0.5 Mbps download when it should be getting between 6-8 Mpbs on my plan (like my n7100 does). So I'd be willing to try another rom with similar features, but after flashing your patch, can you confirm that 3g and lte work fine?

its been a long time..

after using Temasek CM11 rom series.. i had switched to Temasek CM12 made by @arter97 and @temasek and so far no bootloops and weird glitches upon flashing and booting ( i must say the boot animation rocks!! :good:)

again provided you use Arter97's Kernel OR Devil Kernel ( i don't have any news of devil kernel anymore if it was still in development so correct me if i'm wrong.:good:)

right now this is my setup and flashing order
Temasek CM12 + Arter97 kernel + F2FS + HWC + ART(well duh its lollipop so ART is integrated already! no more toggling it on, on developer options yay! :victory:)

(again MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP before getting too excited :good:)
i use arter recovery since i'm using F2FS

1. Download these 3 recipes first then put in SDcard

2. Then MAKE a FULL WIPE! (i mean wipe everything except the SDcard ofcourse since it contains your NANDROID BACKUP and the rom u just downloaded :p or you'll end up having an headache before the new year :laugh:)
3. then flash ROM (do not reboot yet)
4. then flash gapps (i use the minimal+ x version, DO NOT reboot)
5. then flash kernel
6. wipe cache, and dalvik/art cache
7. then reboot! and wait for 2-3minutes (if your using EXT4 it may take another minutes)
8. if wifi is not working for you, you can use the wifi fix found here. as for the mobile data/ussd well stay tuned coz i asked @arter97 if he can do something about those 2 problems. but for now u can not use the ussd fix coz it may cause no signal status.

and lastly the only bug inherent for the CM12 roms was the Long SMS bug. it means u cannot send long SMS messages. so... just make your sms short hehehe..:p

but my only gripe is that as of the moment there hasn't any blackened themes for lollipop..so i guess it will affect battery life of devices using AMOLED panels. and pls DO NOT USE modem KKN3 and KKNI3 it will not work on custom roms other than stock. it is recommended to use NA2 or ND1 modem.

thanks to @arter97 and @temasek for letting the S3 family experience Lollipop :good:

P.S. for E210S/K variants only but of course u can experiment and try, but i hope u know what u are doing and the risks associated with it. so don't come whining to me if your beloved devices become a stone brick that u can throw from the river and see how far it gallops.

    1. Root your device (duh!)
    2. Install the latest CWM recovery or Philz Touch Recovery
    3. Download zips & Copy to Internal SD Card
    4. Reboot Recovery
    5. Wipe data/factory reset / Clean to Install a New ROM
    6. Install zip from SD card -> choose ZIP and flash
    7. Wipe Cache
    8. Wipe Dalvik Cache (under Advanced)
    9. Reboot system
    10. Now Reboot into Recovery again and Flash Quick Settings Fix

    Installation Instructions For E210K Devices
    1. Root your device (duh!)
    2. Install the latest CWM recovery via Rom Manager only. (Select Model as GT-I9300)
    3. Download zip & Copy to Internal SD Card only!
    4. Reboot Recovery
    5. Wipe data/factory reset
    6. Wipe Cache
    7. Wipe Dalvik Cache (under Advanced)
    8. Install zip from SD card -> choose ZIP and Follow the Aroma Installer
    9. Wipe data in Aroma is highly recommended
    10. Reboot system

    Installation Instructions For E210S Devices
    1. Root your device (duh!)
    2. Install the latest CWM recovery via Rom Manager only. (Select Model as GT-I9300)
    3. Download the two zips & Copy to Internal SD Card only!
    4. Reboot Recovery
    5. Wipe data/factory reset
    6. Wipe Cache
    7. Wipe Dalvik Cache (under Advanced)
    8. Install zip from SD card -> choose Android_Revolution_HD-P1.zip and Follow the Aroma Installer (Do not reboot system yet!)
    9. Install zip from SD card -> choose Android_Revolution_HD-P2.zip and Flash
    10. Wipe data in Aroma is highly recommended
    11. Reboot system

    Very Important!
    Since this is a stock based ROM, upon flashing it will try to flash the stock recovery as well. As soon as your device boots up after installing the new ROM, flash CWM Recovery again via Rom Manager .
    Other CWM Based Custom Recoveries are not recommended. Do not use "Reboot to Recovery" option inside the ROM at any cost. Always use Hardware Keys to Boot in to Recovery. If it fails to enter in to Recovery, Flash CWM Recovery again.
    Upon exiting CWM Recovery if it asks "Fix Root?" -> Always select YES!

    *NEW - If your Mobile Data & SMS Delivery reports does not work, flash one of the attached files through CWM.
    This fix is for the 4.3 ROMs Only!​
    1.Mobile_Data&SMS-Fix.zip -> Fixed Mobile Data + Delivery Reports but No USSD/MMI Codes.
    2.Mobile_Data&USSD-Fix.zip -> Fixed Mobile Data + Working USSD/MMI Codes but No SMS Delivery Reports.
    You'll have to choose between one. :rolleyes: No other way.
