When you use the RUU for 4.0, it will remove your rooted ROM. You do need to be relocked before using the RUU (at least that's what I did). You will then do Stock OTA updates all the way to the latest version.

My guess is if you wanted to, you could use OTA updates all the way to the 5.05.651.2 version and not use the RUU. I used the RUU just in case there was anything that didn't update via OTA updates.

When I plug my phone into USB, a new device appears in the Device Manager
Other Devices -> QHSUSB_DLOAD
and it does not have a healthy driver yet.

Am I screwed?
EDIT
Ok, I have found windows drivers for QHSUSB_DLOAD, so now I have a PORT called Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008

but still am probably screwed
