@ moses2438 :

Backup your SD, Wipe Everything, Mount SD in Recovery, Copy ROM,Kernel,Gapps, and Flash them in this Order. Make sure you also have the right Radio. Check the thread I am linking below.

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1785999

Use Odin, Flash radio but be careful when doing this. That thread has all the info you will need.

If you do not have the latest radio, Flash it before Flashing the ROM/Kernel.

When you flash kernel, use Default settings in the Aroma installer, don't try to tweak anything. Once you are done, reboot, and it should work just fine.

Quick question, do I have to wipe anything when Sultan comes out with a new rom?

Edit: btw, gps is now working after the last update.

As stated in the opening post if you are updating this rom no wipe is necessary.

thank you you have been great with me and if anyone has any undervolting setting plz be free to post you know what they say sharing is caring

You are welcomed.. The thing is.. Sultans has this feature called cpu input boost wich.. Everytime you touch the screen it goes upto 1113 mhz.. So u cant underclockt i think..unless you underclockt to that settings.. So it would always be between 192-1114. Just try those if a game seems laggy go for the next overclock hiher setting. One by one. But i was doing ok with 1026. Mzh

Sound Recorder

Solved my problem with very low microphone gain in the stock Sound Recorder. There is no adjustment for microphone gain in this app.

Smart Voice Recorder on the other hand allows for manual adjustment of microphone gain and works a treat. :)

I'm now running the Jan. 19 build and am very happy with it.

When i want to type a number to call and press the big blue phone icon the dialer doesn't show up (get kinda slow). i have to return and press it again for it to show up. Any work around on this? i would prefer the dialer right when i press phone app but i know kitkat changed that.

lavero, You have to change animator duration scale in developer options to at least 0.5x, if you have changed from the default 1.0x to 0.0x.

This is an issue with Cyanogenmod 11.

No, the hardware is different and so are the drivers. I would be surprised if it booted at all.

I too have cm11 on i9100, but this rom sounds awesome, is there anyway to get it running on the i9100 s2 ? would it be much work to convert ? surely the hardware in both devices should be very similar as they are both s2's after all. much respect.;)

They are completely different. SGH-I727 (aka Skyrocket) is a Qualcomm device as where your i9100 is an Exynos device...

With the official CM builds for the skyrocket I could add a local.prop file to the data partition and the settings in it would get picked up by the system on boot. I can't seem to get it to work with this rom. I'm trying to add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" to the local.prop file but it doesn't seem to pick it up. If I add it to the build.prop file in the system partition it works fine. The problem with this is when I flash a new version of the rom it overwrites the build.prop file. Am I missing something with the local.prop file?

Thanks

@Sultanxda Any chance of you looking at this?

Thanks for a great rom.

Last update worked fine for the past month or so but has recently become very poor. Do not recommend downloading.
Maybe it's something I did but I don't remember changing anything. Anyway, the battery life/charging speed was really good for initially but recently the life has become abysmal. Also, I can't charge with my laptop because it is so slow it only reaches 70% overnight.

This is a stable, unofficial CyanogenMod 11 ROM based off of official CyanogenMod device sources with some interesting (and extensive) modifications to both the kernel and the ROM. The kernel is a new custom kernel I modified based off of the official Samsung Jelly Bean kernel source code release.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at any of us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     * Collectively, and at the same time.
     */

    ROM features:
    • Fully-functional camera and camcorder
    • Fixed available front-facing-camera camcorder resolutions (so it can record at higher resolutions)
    • Disabled LPA (as it isn't functioning correctly on MSM8x60)
    • Enabled Qualcomm BSP (Board Support Package)
    • Enabled Qualcomm bionic optimizations
    • Uses CAF media HAL (media-caf)
    • USB mass storage mode (disabled by default; enable it in Settings -> Storage)
    • Newer Adreno graphics libraries for faster graphics (Adreno version: AU_LINUX_ANDROID_JB_2.5.5.04.02.02.092.059)
    • Fixed sound coming out of speakers when "Ok Google" is enabled
    • Fixed broken microphone after using Snapchat or Hangouts Dialer

    Kernel features:
    • Based off of official Samsung JB kernel source (very clean and stable)
    • Custom low-power flash mode, automatically enabled at 35% battery (device doesn't shut down when taking pictures with flash on low battery)
    • Upgraded the amount of real RAM by 56MB (userspace now has 841MB of RAM, as seen in Settings->About Phone)
    • Removed LOTS of excessive debugging and other garbage (a lighter kernel is a faster kernel)
    • Newest-available video controller (vidc) drivers backported from CAF LA.AF.1.1_rb1.7
    • Newer graphics drivers (KGSL) backported from CAF jb_2.5
    • Newest-available framebuffer drivers (MDP) backported from CAF LA.AF.1.1_rb1.7
    • Newest-available WiFi drivers (bcmdhd) backported from Samsung's Galaxy S5 kernel
    • Newest-available Ion memory drivers backported from CAF LA.AF.1.1_rb1.7
    • New Bluetooth drivers (no more high battery drain from Bluetooth and no more drop-outs)
    • WiFi direct works
    • WiFi hotspot works
    • Sweep2Wake
      Enhanced BLN (backlight notifications)
    • Kernel-based thermal mitigation
    • CPU Input Boost driver (this boosts the CPU a little bit every time you touch the screen, ensuring everything feels smooth)
    • Option to undervolt the display by up to 500mV
    • Extremely smooth graphics thanks to the latest-available framebuffer & graphics drivers
    • No 5-second delay in camcorder (as a result of the vidc upgrade)
    • Fixed cable-type 6 charging wakelocks (cable-type 6 = unknown charger)
    • Fixed slow charging speed with some chargers
    • Ultra-fast charging over USB (up to 1200mA, regular fast charge in all other kernels is 900mA)
    • Increased maximum current for AC charging to 1200mA (Samsung default is 900mA)
    • GPU overclockable up to 320MHz
    • CPU overclockable up to 1.944GHz
    • Improved screen colors via HTC MDP color enhancement (screen colors are less saturated)

***The ROM comes with my kernel built into it; however, sometimes I may release an update for only the kernel and not the entire ROM, so the newest ROM update might not come with the newest kernel. The kernel-only update package also comes with an Aroma installer that can be used to configure some kernel options (such as display-undervolt).
