It's not working for me.
trying to install with the file Z2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.1-RELEASE.installer.zip
in windows 8.1 x64
firmware: 23.0.1.A.0.167 stock, non-rooted, bootloader locked.

After I ran install.bat, I choose 3.
Everything goes fine untill this:

Code:
module_layout: patched to 0xFF791C4F
__aeabi_unwind_cpp_pr1: match
kallsyms_lookup_name: not found
printk: not found
mem_text_write_kernel_word: not found
__aeabi_unwind_cpp_pr0: match
successfully patched
Then it gets stuck at this point:
libdvm opened (loljavasucks)

Here's the full cmd output:
Code:

Thanks for the full log, usually people forget them...

In this case however: the unrooted option does not work on that FW version as the exploit has been patched... Sorry bro. You need to downgrade to an older FW and then update to this version in a prerooted package.

Thanks for fast reply.
So I can simply download an older FTF, and flash it via flashtool, and then I can root it, right?

EDIT: Thanks. I reverted back to 17.1.2.A.0.314 and then used this method to create pre-rooted package.
It is now perfect.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks [NUT] for keeping my recoveries up-to-date, i'll flash and test the new version later

Do you think it's possible for you and zxz0O0 to work some magic and make unrooted installation on .167 with the new giefroot ??
Would be nice and simple for the newbies and make recovering from bricks on a LB faster

Thanks once again.
