I think you will see less phones come bootloader unlocked, not more.

Of course I hope I'm wrong on that.

I disagree. We've seen a lot of manufacturers providing dev tools to unlock devices. Granted some carriers restrict this such as Verizon but it's still a step in the right direction.

If you're on Verizon (or AT&T for the most part) and not willing to pay full price for a dev edition or a Nexus then unlocked BL's will become harder to achieve. Lollipop is not making it easier.

If you're on vrzn it's cheaper to buy outright if you are running 10gb plan or higher, no activation fee and 25.00 back every month.. In two years that's 630.00 bucks back you DONT get when going under contract.
