Lost IMEI, Baseband after v4.3.7 install
FYI... I flashed "PSN_AGNi_pureSTOCK-v4.3.7_N7105_4.4.x_AROMA.zip" on my t0lteatt device (ATT Note2) and lost my IMEI, Baseband, and CSC information. Prior to this, I was successfully running the v4.2.8 kernel with 0 issues. ROM is I317UCUCNJ1 which is a 4.4.2 TW stock ROM (dicksteele's "almost naked" rom) with TWRP v2.8.4.0. [note: I did verify/validate md5 hash of the download file prior to flashing].
I tried the following to recover IMEI and baseband while on AGNi-v4.3.7:
* restored EFS partition previously saved via TWRP (did not solve issue)
* restored I317UCUCNJ1 modem previously saved via TWRP (did not solve issue)

Finally resorted to restoring last week's nandroid backup of my rom with the AGNi-v4.2.8 kernel... this restored my IMEI, baseband, and CSC information. @psndna88: any ideas as to why flashing the N7105_4.4.x v4.3.7 kernel would wipe my IMEI and baseband? Any suggestions how I can install v4.3.7 without impacting my IMEI, baseband? Thanks

? thanks for reply, but how can losing IMEI and CSC be "completely a recovery issue"? My flash (executed through TWRP) completed normally... no errors or bootloops; however, upon system reboot, no CSC or IMEI data... thus, no data or phone capabilities.

If you look at the script that executes when flashing the kernel, you can see what exactly it's telling recovery to do... and it has nothing to do with imei.

If you're running the latest version of twrp v2.8.4.0, you should downgrade to 2.8.1.0. I was never able to get 2.8.3.0 or 2.8.4.0 to work on my i317.

my flash of AGNi 4.3.7 was perfect with 2.8.1.0

I have tried flashing with many versions of TWRP, 2.8.1.0, 2.8.3.0, I agree 2.8.4.0 is broken, but the other 2 versions do cause a reboot mid flash which results in no kernel being flashed.

Philz recovery gives script error saying it cannot change some permissions, so it seems to me I am unable to update, I don't have time to mess about, I am at 4.3.6, so until this 4.3.7 I have not had this problem.
