  • First thing to do is download the Nocturnal ADB package from here
  • Extract the files and place them on the desktop
  • Install the USB_Drivers_1.5.27.0.exe
  • Plug in your device and make sure ADB debugging is enabled on your device
  • click "Start" and type "computer" and right click and click properties
  • now go to device manager on the top left
  • right click the ADB device and click update driver
  • Click "Browse my computer for driver software"
  • Click "Let me pick from a list of drivers"
  • Type "s" and choose the Samsung Drivers
  • Click next
  • Select the android driver
  • click next
  • Now go to the Nocturnal ADB folder and open the CMD inside it
  • Type "adb devices" and push enter
  • Enjoy

Desire C will not work on Windows 8(.1) - it will always fail enumeration. It's because of USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller (xHCI) driver in Windows 8 and 8.1. It's an error - Desire C reports USB version greater than 2.00, but does not provide a BOS descriptor. But there is a workaround, an official one...
