Hello

So i try start HL2 on my Note 3 4.4.2 with using newest version of GL tools. With setting writed below i was able to get in the main menu and load first level, but main problem is that i cant see any texture - everything is black. But i was really able to walking on level and do actions. I hear this thru sounds in game and yeah i have connected moga controller.

Setting for gl tools:
Use fake gpu info
Template: tegra 4
Simple mapbuffer emulation
Software VBO emulation
Use packed stencil buffer

I try other settings but no luck to repair black textures...

That's because it uses the DXT format. Only Tegra devices can handle DXT textures.
It probably works on Tegra 3, but I have no suitable Tegra 3 device to test it with, my Ouya runs on 4.1.2.

I have these games favorite'ed:
Portal
Half-life 2
etc


reboot the mojo

make sure location access is on.

I installed it as follows:
Install the app from the link.
Force stop google store

Run the app,
I picked:
Selected Tablet, Nvidia Shield
Pick your country and ISP
and activated.
Logged into google for device registration.

Start google store and your favs should be purchasable.
It's a hit and miss process but it does work, all the games above were able to be installed expect GTA-4.

If it still fails force stop google store, rerun the market helper app and check.
if it still fails clear the data on both service and store and force stop google store, rerun makert helper.
On SW reboot and service/store data clear it remembered the settings for me.

Now you can pay for HL2 and portal but cant install them because they check to make sure it's a nvidia shield.
I'll have a look to see if there's a way around it.

Used Market Helper spoof as Nvidia Shield running CM12. No problems downloading and installing from the PlayStore. Portal 2 runs awesome. Can't wait to see what happens when I play around with GLTools (which I didn't even need on the Mojo).

Question GLTools Isn't Working Correctly with My Apps. HELP!!!!!
Hi. I'm having a problem with my GLTools. I installed it and granted it SU permissions, enabled custom settings, optimised GPS settings, etc for Nvidia Shield exclusive games: "Portal" and "Half-Life 2" which runs on the Tegra 4 template, however the app crashes after the Valve logo, as it would without the GLTools app. I have installed the apk and downloaded all the correct data for the apps. How can I get this app to start working correctly with my Tegra apps so they can run on my phone without crashing before they start? I contacted the developer. He was no help. I have an LG Optimus G running on Android 4.1.2. Thanks!
P.S. The settings in GLTools that I have tried for both of my apps include: Enable custom settings for this app, optimise GLSL shades, use fake GPU info, use a template (Tegra 4), simple mapbuffer emulation, software VBO emulation, use packed stencil buffer, half-float texture hack, fix FBO attachment sizes, and decode sRGB.
