How big of a deal would it be to add f2fs?

That's cool, I understand how that goes. If you could get it working, I think it would help a lot for this aging device... Of course, we'd also need a rom to support it too. Of course @Chucktr always likes a challenge. Wouldn't want him getting bored!!

Question
What do I need to do to actually wipe my internal sdcard?

I ran CleanWIPE and also wiped using TWRP and there are still folders on there from apps. I need to have a completely clean start because my phone started acting up, running super slow and a bunch of apps stopped working.

Do I have to reformat it? I don't want to do anything stupid. I feel like I don't know anything anymore since I haven't flashed a ROM in almost 2 years!!!

When I look under "advanced" in the Wipe options, there are 2 listings for "internal sdcard" and a "micro sdcard". So I have no idea why there are 2 internals...

I'm s-on, though I think I'll try rumrunner as soon as I get a ROM back on.

TWRP v2.5.0.0 (I don't want to change versions if I don't have to)

HBOOT: 2.27.0000
RADIO: 2.22.10.0001r 2.22.10.0003r
OpenDSP: v14.6.0.7008.00.0507
eMMC: boot
Aug 6, 2012

And I was running EclipticRez v8, and now I'm finally going to flash v9.

ETA: Okay, so now I was going to flash EclipticRez v9 and I get this error message:
"This operation may install incompatible software and render your device unusable.
Folder: /sdcard
File to flash: EclipticRez-Revamped-v9.zip"

Maybe I need it on the internal card? I'll try that. Ugh.

...

ETA: Ended up switching to AmonRa. Wiping with CleanWIPE, wiping with AmonRa and running RUU. FINALLY got a true clean slate with no old app folders on my internal sdcard.

Still wondering why there are two internal sdcard listed in the advanced wipe settings and why it gave an error when I went to flash EclipticRez, v9 and v8. Flashed without issue using AmonRa.
