I need to get into diag mode, and must be missing something.
I use this command to get to the hidden menu that shows "diag options":

adb shell
su
am start com.lge.hiddenmenu/com.lge.hiddenmenu.settings.Settings

Then when I click diag options it gives me 3 choices:
1)USB Set for Diag
2)UART Set for Diag
3)NULL Port

I've tried all 3 options but can't get a com port to come up that I can connect to (with qpst or dfs).
ibud or any one else have any suggestions?

Thanks, I used am start from terminal emulator this morning, and it works. Don't know how to access diagnostic mode, or if it's even enabled. But I have some ideas. More research...

I need a little help in understanding why I would need the SDFix. I can access the 8gb external sd card with file explorer and also through USB on the PC with windows explorer. I directed TWRP to store to the external sd card. What am I missing? I still have about 900mb free on the 4gb ROM and I have about all the apps that I want.

If you are running kitkat, you don't have TOTAL access. Files created by a particular app are not permitted to be accessible by other apps. Sdfix fixes these permissions. You will see a noticeable difference, as you try to read/write to these directories, before/after sdfix.

ibud, thought i'd check to see if you made any progress with diag?

Also, I've only found a few dialer codes.

Brings up a 6 digit password menu.
Does anyone with this phone know their 6 digit password for this menu?
I'm assuming its an SPC/MSL but since I'm not activated I can't get mine.
Need someone who can help dissect this info; anyone?
