my phone boots and runs android beautifully but my data connection does not work at all

also my wifi is not working.

i have no idea how to get data, i think it is a problem with the apn settings and i cannot find any of that information for cellular south

does anybody hav access to cell south apn data, i think that may be wats wrong because the fone says it has "3G" and the up arrow flashes but the down does not and it goes no where

PassWord: (ESN Hex number in all caps)
Note: ESN = MEID for CSouth Touch Diamond. You can find it behind the battery.


That's the settings for setting up in WM. I'm currently trying to figure out Android myself. I'll post my results.

Edit: Alright, I figured it out.

Create a new APN with the home key.
In server, put #777. The rest is the above information.

ok this still did nothing for my diamond, what build and kernel and stuff were you using?

Nothing happen to my phone either

i am about to throw my diam500 out the window, ever since i started tinkering with android, it has NOT worked at all, to top it off, it will not sync with active sync or mount as a disk, i want OUT i want REAL android i hate winmo rite now plus my rom sucks, its slow freezes all the time and the sad part is that its the best one ive tried

Lol, Try the gtx fearless rom on ppc greeks website. just google roms for cdma htc diamond.
