Just to clarify, these will update the firmware of my HTC M8 to the latest firmware, and will allow me to update my ROM from a 4.4.2 to a 4.4.4 or 5.0 ROM?

Thanks, Evo

Nope..I would never post anything that would do that to a device or lock boot loader if I did tho it would be a massive warning bout that

CM11 Users
cm11 is working flawlessly now. I guess 4.4 prefers the updated firmware. I'm getting 5 hours screen on now.. So far today I'm at 15+ hours off charger with 2.5 hours screen on and 45% battery left.. Thank you Tigerstown
* On as side note......Don't use gravitybox xposed module with cm11. I was having screen rotation lock sideways. No worries though after removing changes and uninstalling it there have been 0 issues.
