Hi, sorry for a noob question: how to extract the T110.TWRP.2.7.0.1.tar.md5 to get the recovery.tar.md5?

I opened the file using winrar and only found one file: recovery.img

Thanks..

For Samsung Tab 3 Lite T110 , you'll need to follow these steps (it should be similar for T111) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2674649

To summarise the main steps you'll need to do.
Step 1 - Download and Use Odin on your computer. The aim here is to flash your device so you'll need to Restart your device in "Download Mode" by holding the "HOME" button, "Volume Down" and "Power" all at the same time (for about 5 seconds).

Step 2 - Have a ROM already downloaded and on your microSD card for your device. When you turn on your device (if you have flashed it correctly in the earlier step), you should see options to install from the microSD card and you'll be able to use the device to read and install the "T110.TWRP.2.7.0.1.tar.md5" file you are referring to.

Hope this helps!

I'm trying to root my T111 just updated with the latest official Samsung firmware (Sept 2014), now I correctly flashed recovery through Odin, but when I enter CWM and select supersu.zip to install it, it returns signature error...

That means you still have stock recovery.
Uncheck Auto Reboot in Odin. Reflash cwm and once flash finish, manually reboot to recovery with three button combo.
