You did not say anything about root before. You asked only about 4.4.4, and CallRecorder works on 4.4.4, but rooted.
So, there is no from line call recorder app for urooted Moto G.

Finally, here is the good news!
Moto G/Moto G 2nd no longer need root, Boldbeast Call Recorder records calls perfectly in two sides, supports Android 4.4, Android 5.0. This is the only solution that works great without root.
