Device manager in Windows and the syslog file in Linux both report that the device is sending the wrong VID and PID. The vendor ID should be 0B05 and the fonepad is reporting 8087 in both cases. Adding 8087 to the driver files does not fix the issue.
Fastboot and ADB both use the same underlying communication mechanism to talk to the fonepad. If one works the other will work also. When this underlying mechanism is not working neither ADB or Fastboot will work.
The issue I have looks like the VID and PID have become corrupted on the fonepad, which is why I was looking for the raw file which should rewrite the corrupted information.
Does anyone know if the K00E WW raw file will work on the K00E TW fonepad?
many device report different VID at fastboot mode, even My old Nexus 2(S) report different VID.
so this is why fastboot mode always have problem.
Add 8087 for windows driver file and reinstall the driver did worked for me!
