Hi @Khaon: to compile your kernel as permissive, do I need to change something in the "cyanogenmod_manta_defconfig" file?
In my BoardConfig I already had added "androidboot.selinux=permissive" for the BOARD_KERNEL_CMDLINE.
Thanks for any info!

Well there are actually three ways:
Eesiest ones:
You add androidboot.selinux=permissive in your BoardConfig like you did or you can do the following :
Edit this and add androidboot.selinux=permissive

waste of time one:
unpack and repack.

Your defoncifg is cyanogen one?

@Khaon Thanks for your fast reply!
Yes, using the cyanogenmod_manta_defconfig file in BoardConfig.
Using your android_device_samsung_manta as well as android_kernel_samsung_manta (khaon_new branch).
Strangely my rom said that the kernel was set to enforcing, but I'll add the permissive line to the defconfig too and do a full clean build again and see what happens.

I am not even sure but I think the cyanogen defconfig is not up to date.

You might want to compare with my defconfig. But basically there are same with just extra things on my side

I have defined the permissive thing in my defconfig that's why you were enforcing

Not a big deal at all, but I've noticed on the 03-23 ROM that the battery %age doesn't go down as it gets used. Have to reboot to see current level. Does go up when charging. Even removed batterstats.bin and rebooted and still doesn't go down with use.
